We also regularly organise themed tours, academic expeditions and corporate events in various countries and regions of the former Soviet Union. Please see below for a list of ideas.

Gastronomic discoveries and wine tasting
God bless food! The former USSR has a much richer cuisine than you might expect. From Ukrainian borsch (beetroot soup) to Georgian khinkali (large dumplings filled with meat and vegetables); from Uzbek plov (a hearty dish of rice, carrots, onions and lamb) to Abkhaz mamaliga (a polenta-like dish accompanied by salty cheese); from ancient traditional recipes in Chechnya to the newest haute cuisine trends in Moscow and Petersburg, you'll be amazed by the diversity of staples and specialities awaiting you in the former USSR. Wine lovers won't be disappointed as the vineyards in Georgia and Moldova produce word-famous first-class sorts, whereas if you like stronger stuff, well you already know what Russia is stereotypically famous for. We regularly offer tailored eno-gastronomic tours that will definitely satisfy palates and stomachs alike with mouthwatering delicacies and hearty country food. Drop us a message and give us some indications about your culinary dreams and we'll design a unique tour for you and your taste buds. Please contact us to learn more.

Are you majoring in international relations and would like to write something about frozen conflicts in the former USSR or the political implications of water scarcity in Central Asia? Are you studying architecture and you'd like to observe and photograph marvellous examples of Soviet modernism, brutalism and constructivism? Are you a linguist researching indigenous ugro-finnic, turkic or nakh languages in the former USSR? Well, you have just found your new favourite tour operator! We routinely cater to academic institutions and university students brave and clever enough to do some research on the ground. Please contact us to learn more.
